ISPA is proud to announce its support of Internet World 2006 – the UK’s largest B2B Internet event. Now in its 14th year, Internet World the UK's largest Business to Business event for professionals responsible for their company's online presence. The show attracts more visitors and more exhibitors than any other Internet focused Business to Business event in the UK.
Internet World 2006 will focus on how to best capitalise on the market opportunities associated with growth in Internet industry. The event will illustrate ways you can improve your business’s performance and demonstrate the latest technologies of the industry.

Dipping A “Tow” In Council’s Water
Adam Tow joins ISPA Council this month
ISPA would like to formally welcome Adam Tow, General Counsel & Company Secretary at Video Networks, the operator of Homechoice, to the ISPA Council. Adam has been co-opted onto the ISPA Council this month by the current Council members
Adam joined Video Networks in December 2000 and is responsible for the company’s legal and regulatory affairs. In recent years, he has successfully lobbied Government to ensure the exclusion of video-on-demand services from the Communications Act's regulatory regime. Adam has also worked with industry bodies on the establishment of the Telecoms Adjudicator (responsible for overseeing the unbundling of the local loop) and on digital switch-over issues.

Data Retention And The ISP Industry
ISPA Legal Forum to address directive
ISPA’s next legal forum, taking place on Thursday 9th March in London, will focus on the Data Retention Directive.
Hosted by Cameron McKenna and Chaired by Clive Gringas, Partner Olswang, attendees will hear from speakers such as:

- Simon Watkin, the policy lead on Data Retention at the Home Office

A Great Eight
Eight new members join ISPA this month
ISPA is excited to announce that a whopping eight new members have joined the ranks of ISPA membership this month.
Joining ISPA this month is Air-band, providers of high speed wireless Internet access. Like other forms of Broadband, AIR-BAND is an 'always on' internet connection, unlike other forms of Broadband, AIR-BAND can be a synchronous data service, which makes it ideal for hosting, VPN or lease line replacement.
Lipex has also signed up to enjoy the benefits of ISPA Membership this month. Started in October of 2001, Lipex is one of the fastest growing Internet Exchange Points (IXP) or Peering Points in Europe. Lipex is quickly gaining an excellent reputation for being reliable, open, friendly, and easy to use.
Another of ISPA’s new members is Telabria. Established in 2003, Telabria is an award-winning regional network operator and wireless product developer based in the United Kingdom.
